Data We Collect

We collect different categories of data depending on how you use QAsimodo:

• Account and billing data: name, surname, professional email, company details, invoicing information, and authentication credentials.
• Platform usage data: project configurations, run history, generated test artifacts, review notes, and workspace preferences.
• Device and telemetry data: IP address, browser type, operating system, approximate location, diagnostic logs, and performance metrics collected by the platform and the local agent to guarantee service continuity.
• Support and communication data: information you share when contacting us via email, chat, or support tickets, including attachments.
• Cookie and tracking data: identifiers stored on your device to remember preferences, measure usage, and offer personalised experiences.

Purposes and Legal Basis

We process personal data according to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for the following purposes and lawful bases:

• Account provisioning and contract performance:to register users, authenticate access, deliver the SaaS platform and agent services, process payments, and provide customer support (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Service improvement and reliability: to monitor platform stability, debug incidents, enhance AI models, and develop new features, relying on our legitimate interest in offering a secure, efficient product (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Compliance and legal obligations: to meet tax and accounting requirements, respond to lawful requests, and enforce our agreements (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
• Marketing communications: to send product updates, invites, and educational content with your prior consent, which you may withdraw at any time (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Data Retention

Personal data is retained for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes above. Account data is stored for the duration of your subscription and up to 24 months after closure unless longer retention is mandated by law. Run artifacts and telemetry logs are automatically pruned according to workspace retention policies or anonymised for statistical analysis.

Data Sharing

We share personal data with carefully selected processors that help us operate QAsimodo, including hosting providers, analytics platforms, payment processors, and customer support tools. These partners act under written agreements that impose confidentiality, security, and GDPR compliance obligations. We do not sell personal data.

International Transfers

When personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we rely on adequacy decisions or implement Standard Contractual Clauses and additional safeguards to ensure an equivalent level of protection.

Security Measures

QAsimodo applies technical and organisational measures such as encryption in transit and at rest, segregated environments, least-privilege access controls, continuous monitoring, and regular training of staff to reduce security risks. We regularly review these safeguards to address emerging threats.

Your Rights

Under GDPR you can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing of your personal data. You may also withdraw consent without affecting the lawfulness of past processing. If you believe your rights were violated, you can lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority or the Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali in Italy.

How to Exercise Your Rights

Send your request toprivacy@qasimodo.comfrom the email associated with your account. We will respond within 30 days unless regulations allow an extension. For sensitive changes we may request additional verification to protect your account.
